The class is in four parts on four Saturdays, May 23, 30 and June 6, 20.
1. The first class will be from 9am to noon at the church where we hold our meetings.
The class will cover gear, simple knots and bugs.
2. The second class will be 9am to 11am at Chumash Park for casting.
A hat and sunglasses are recommended.
3. The third class will be 9am to noon at Lake Casitas for casting on the water and lake fishing tactics.
4. The fourth class will be on fishing moving water at a location yet to be determined. We have good water this year but mid June can be really hot in our back country so we may end up traveling to the Santa Ynez above Santa Barbara.
** There will be more opportunities to take any class you miss.
COSTS:
- The class manual is $10 to cover our cost
- Lake Casitas has a $10 entry fee.
- Purchase a fishing license (Big 5, Eric's Tackle other tackle shop)
You must provide your own gear for the fourth class.
Our next meeting is May 20 at Church of the Foothills 6:30-9pm.
All of our meetings are open to the public and free.
